Bell and Gossett pumps are designed for serviceability, both the motor and sleeve bearing are oil lubricated with replaceable resilient motor mounts. The two piece bracket makes service a snap. The long bronze sleeve bearing maintains exact shaft alignment which provides for constant circulation of oil over bearing surfaces. Bell & Gossett’s pump shafts are oversized to provide large bearing surfaces. Hardened integral thrust collar prevents end-thrust to ensure long seal and bearing life. All B&G pumps have been factory tested which has insured over 10,000,000 successful installations in the past 60 plus years.
