Manual generator transfer switch. Ideal to upgrade from a portable generator to automatic standby power simply and affordably. Pre-wired electrical device that is installed next to home's circuit panel. During a power outage, it delivers power to hard-wired appliances (furnace, well pump, lights) with the push of a button. Safe and easy to use. Eliminates the need for multiple extension cords. Comes standard with 8 circuits, expandable to 10 circuits. Can be converted to an automatic home standby transfer switch. Power source indicator lights inform the user when there is utility or generator power present. Prevents dangerous back-feeding to avoid injuring utility line workers
