Pneumatically operated valves feature a molded plastic valve body, pneumatic operator and pneumatic actuator button assembly. Combination check-stops with inlet strainers are furnished as standard features. Valves are used for metering applications. In metering mode, the valve operates only after the push button is released (non-hold open feature). Metering cycle is adjustable from 5 seconds to 2 minutes. No water flows through the metering portion of the valves. Air tubing from pushbuttons is 1/8" OD FDA approved polyethylene. Tubing from the valve to the fixture outlet is 1/2" OD FDA approved polyethylene. Valves must be located within 10 feet of the fixture outlets and actuator buttons. Valve outlet is fitted with a .5 GPM flow control for lavatories and drinking fountains. Pushbuttons can be operated using less that 5 .lb per ADA guidelines. Spouts and outlets must be specified separately.
