Any debris in the water that can clog the timing bypass hole in the diaphragm will be grinded to a safe size so that it can travel through the bypass hole. Every time the flush valve goes through a flushing cycle, the mashaerator will rotate and slide up and down to grind any debris keeping the bypass hole clean. The bypass assembly is made up of two halves. One features the timing bypass hole and the other half serves as a retainer and guide for the mashaerator wire. These two halves are screwed together through the diaphragm. The timing bypass assembly is made up of a special material and incorporates a stainless steel mashaerator.
